Choose Import form on an empty form. Formloom accepts the sources below; the result replaces the empty form's content and keeps the form id.
Form builders
Typeform: paste the form definition from the Typeform Create API (GET /forms/{id}) or a JSON export. Fields map to the matching Formloom blocks (short/long text, email, phone, number, website, date, multiple choice, dropdown, picture choice, opinion scale, rating, ranking, matrix, file upload, legal, yes/no, payment); welcome screens become text, thank-you screens become the thank-you page, groups become pages.- Formloom JSON: a document exported from another Formloom form.
- Google Forms: not available yet because Google Forms has no export.
Documents and images
- Word (.docx) and PDF: the document text is extracted on the server and handed to the AI generator, which turns headings and questions into blocks.
- Image or screenshot: the picture is sent to the AI model as an image, so this source needs an ANTHROPIC_API_KEY; with the CLI fallback the option shows 'Not available without an API key'.
- CSV: question,type,options columns (options separated by |).
- Markdown: # title, ## question, an optional [type] line and - option lines; --- starts a new page.
- Plain text: one short-answer question per line.
